Upcoming Blood MOON eclipse:

The longest lunar eclipse of the century is happening July 27. It will last one hour and 43 minutes.
This is the second eclipse in the series of THREE in June/July (eclipses usually come in pairs). Lunar eclipses are created by the earth moving between the Sun and the full Moon.
The reason it is such a lengthy eclipse, is because the Moon is super far from Earth at the time, so the shadow it casts is bigger than usual. Bigger shadow = longer eclipse.
Retrograde and uber-strong Mars will also be moving very close to this eclipse degree.
Robert Massey of the Royal Astronomical Society told The Times. “It is a really nice and rare opportunity to seen eclipse moon next to Mars in the night sky."
The moon will turn red, meanwhile – rather than just disappearing into darkness as might be expected – because of an effect known as Rayleigh Scattering where bands of green and violet light become filtered through the atmosphere.
Astrologically speaking, it really does include Mars in the shadow that that is being created by the nodes of the Moon. Interesting and rare astronomically but not so great astrologically! Eclipses are pretty much great for inner/spiritual work and not much else!
Aries and Scorpio rising take note! And since the eclipse fall on the Cancer/Capricorn axis, same goes for these rising signs. Or if you have a planet in Shravana nakshatra or are running any level of Moon cycles...this could be a powerfully transformative time!
