HANUMAN JAYANTI:

The Significance of Lord Hanuman

Lord Hanuman is none other than Shiva-Shakthi and is a very powerful pre-creative force. Sri Hanuman is known by many names such as Anjaneya, Vayuputra, Vayukumara, Hanumantha, Anjali Putra, Bajarangabali, Mahaveer, Maruti, Pavanputra, etc. He is a great yogi (mystic) having transcended the five senses (Pancha Indriyas). Sri Hanuman is the son of Vayu or Marut, the Wind God.  He was blessed by Sita Devi with the ashta maha sidhis, the eight supernatural powers. For more information, please go through this link on our temple site on Sri Hanuman.
